WHEN THERE ARE KIDS IN A HOME, THE KITCHEN IS REALLY AT THE HEART OF IT.

Which is why such an open plan space is ideal for this particular big family. After our initial meeting I knew that whatever I designed had to work  as a functioning space, but the beautiful light and vaulted ceiling meant that I was inspired to create a statement. I did this with the large solid wood cooker hood, reminiscent of the stately hearths in a old grand homes. But this kitchen is modern, so a charcoal metro tile backsplash, the marble countertop and chrome lighting keep this kitchen in the 21st century.

The solid oak Chichester kitchen by Neptune suits this busy country home perfectly – the storage is plentiful, the finish is hardwearing, and it looks beautiful too!
